The person who builds the program answers.
TurboFix is developed by one person, Eric Gilberti. There's no call center and no automated reply: emails are read and answered by the person who writes the program. For an idea or a bug report there's the form at the bottom of the page.
Help center
A problem, a question, something that isn't working.

What's new, the new screens and a bit of behind the scenes.

Before you write
Many answers are already written down, and take thirty seconds to find:
- FAQ: is it free? is it safe? will it delete my files?
- License: I lost it, how do I get it back?
- Help center: how to install it and the first steps.
What we need, and how long it takes
To understand a problem, three things are needed: which screen it happens on, what happens, and whether it happens every time or only occasionally. If the problem is with the computer itself, the Report TurboFix can produce already contains everything we need.
One person answers, so there's no guaranteed response time: no shifts, no automated replies. Never put a password or personal data in a support message.
Buy me a coffee
TurboFix is free and stays free. Anyone who wants to support the project can find out how on the license page: it's voluntary and changes nothing for anyone.
Who's behind it
TurboFix was born from a real problem: PC cleaners that scare people with inflated numbers to sell them something. It's written in Italy, the computer's measurements stay on the disk (the little the program sends to the website is spelled out in full in the privacy policy). The Lifetime Premium key is free for anyone, with no paid versions.
AboutSuggestions
Suggest a change
An idea for a new feature, a problem to report, a question: write it here and it goes straight to the developer.
Prefer to write from your own email? The address is supporto@turbofix.it.
A useful message in four lines
The more concrete the message, the sooner the problem is understood. Only a few things really matter:
- Which screen it happens on, using the name it has in the menu.
- What happens and what should happen instead.
- Whether it happens every time or only occasionally.
- The program version, shown in Settings.
One person reads it
The message reaches the person who writes the program by email. There's no ticket system, no automated reply and no guaranteed response time: TurboFix is an independent project carried on by one person, and replies come when that person is able to give them.
When a suggestion becomes a feature, it shows up in what's new for the release it lands in.
No passwords, no personal data
Understanding a problem never requires a password, a card number or an ID document: if any end up in a message, take them out. If a screenshot of the program is needed, cover whatever isn't relevant before attaching it.
The email address is optional and is only used to reply: without it the message still arrives, but there's nowhere for the reply to go. How messages are handled is described in the privacy policy.
